About

Hello! I'm Lucy.

I'm a woman, friend and confidante. A coach, mentor and artist, a business woman, and an enthusiastic knitter of blankets and scarves. A lover of yoga with a passion for wellbeing, the owner of far too many unread books. A woman drawn to walks in nature and by the sea, I am a cat with nine lives who actually loves dogs..

It wasn't always like this....

Although I enjoyed a busy, successful and often demanding career across various senior positions in retail for over two decades, I realised there was more to be discovered about me. I felt incomplete and I had the desire to live a more authentic, connected life and thus my journey of self discovery began.

About

How did I get here?

Throughout my career in Retail Business Strategy, Planning and Forecasting, I developed a passion for coaching and mentoring individuals. Later on in my career I also focused on building training and development programmes at a wider company level.

In my early 40's I reached what I can only call a significant life stage transition. I wanted to move towards a more balanced life focusing on wholeness, realising all parts of me, the resourceful, the creative and the spiritual. I decided to take the leap and move towards a life that supported these emerging beliefs and values.

At this point I had therapy intermittently for many years to try to come to terms with the challenges life's events can bring. For the first time I focused on myself and with the help of an amazing psychiatrist and therapist I gained resolution from cPTSD and a freedom from chronic pain through the process of Ketamine Assisted Therapy.

During this period of my life I also discovered I was peri menopausal and thus began the education and awareness of a major life stage transition and the challenges and life-learnings it can bring.

Through these organic and evolutionary processes I have gained a deeper knowledge and acceptance of self. Today I do things I could have only ever dreamed of and live a life I never thought I would have the confidence to lead. I have cemented the stability and belief in self for the day to day in an ever more challenging world.
