The Lightbulb or "aha" moment.....
That moment of clarity or enlightenment as we try to take the next step to reach a wider goal or outcome, the path becomes clearer to establishing a wider vision.
Whatever the subject matter, creative coaching can provide the key to opening that door.
Why?
The brain is separated into the left and right hemisphere and is connected by a centre nerve cable allowing communication between the two.
Both hemispheres have different modes of functioning which can cause conflict and confusion and we can get stuck in the revolving door between the two.
The left hemisphere is vocal and enables speech. It is consistent, analytical and logical, It defines a topic by labelling, naming and categorising things.
The right hemisphere is silent, it is where metaphor lives and where non-verbal communication occurs such as facial and hand gestures. It sees the world as flow, in constant flux and change and no experience is the same.
The right hemisphere is where intuition and deduction live and where insight occurs using images, patterns and instincts. It is open to interpretation and can suspend judgement.
Creative coaching can enable the right hemisphere to move forward and ignite that lightbulb or "aha' moment, That moment of clarity and enlightenment that can lead to tangible progress with any desired goal or outcome.
No previous creative experience is required with creative coaching, the only requirement is a desire and commitment for change.
